Safety first, always
Our work takes place in the street, in chambers and around live plant. Safety is not a policy document we keep for tenders — it is how the work gets planned and done.
How we manage safety on site
- Risk assessments and method statements produced for every task, reviewed before work begins
- Accredited, trained and competent engineers — with ongoing competency checks
- Correct signing, lighting and guarding for all streetworks
- Well-maintained plant, equipment and PPE
- A reporting culture: near misses and hazards are recorded, reviewed and acted on
- Toolbox talks and briefings issued and acknowledged digitally
Atom Ultima for Utilities
Job packs, training records, risk assessments, audits and incident reporting are managed in the field through the Atom Ultima workforce app — so compliance is captured at the point of work rather than reconstructed afterwards.
- UK-hosted and built to Cyber Essentials Plus requirements
- Full audit trail on all communication and acknowledgement
- Policies and briefings reach every engineer, employed or subcontract
- Risk assessments and audits completed on site, on a phone
The certifications below are being pursued as formal, externally assessed standards. We describe them as in progress and will say so until each is awarded.
